Founder and CEO
Olivia Leong believes that all great businesses lead with purpose. Over a corporate career spanning more than two decades, she has helped clients find and develop their voice, and create strategies that supercharge their brands.
She spent eight years at American Express as Head of Customer Acquisition and 11 years at Visa, where she acquired a 360 view of what makes businesses succeed, and led with heart as the brand’s VP of Business Solutions in Asia Pacific. Her leadership has guided teams to achievement and profound success through innovations and practices that engender constant growth.
Today, she brings that expertise and experience to Verra Asia, building a company that has specialises in shaping true value for SMEs through their startup journey. Operating within this niche enables Verra Asia’s unique proposition to be extended to Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Singapore keen to growth — fast.
Working with clients to shape their marketing strategies for internal and external communications, he is a natural empath who seeks to understand what makes brands unique, and present them as unforgettable personas to their target audiences.
By identifying standout traits of clients, he transposes their intent to strategic and tactical solutions. He honed his management and storytelling skills as a project manager in SPH’s content marketing department, working on award-winning campaigns that were both strategic and compelling.
His skills extended to developing high-level strategies and pricing mechanics for producing creative work, and is currently working towards a business administration degree. He is a constant advocate for growth, an initiative powerhouse, and acts as a passionate champion for all those he represents.
Verra’s visual communications go-to person was bred on a background in public relations, digital marketing and social media management. Ever cheerful, highly motivated and genuine, Vanessa is our expert in generating inspiring content that extends her personality to her projects.
Fluent in all formats, she takes on digital or traditional content with a creative thinking that starts with an overarching theme, which flows across messages where ever our clients’ messages appear.
Overseeing visual communications as an account manager, she simplifies communications among clients and third-party vendors, ever with a smile. Vanessa shares Verra Asia’s mission: to help clients on their journey through creative marketing strategies, which see through high-level strategy into its brand identity and design templates that empower SMEs to bring their messages to life.
Samuel’s passion for marketing stems from his obsession with formulating novel ideas that help brands differentiate themselves.
Having worked in multiple startups, he has been often challenged to creatively produce something new with limited resources.
Backed with an analytical mindset and love for numbers, Samuel also ensures that his campaigns’ success are performance driven and pegged to measurable KPIs — always ready to optimise his campaigns’ performance with his next idea.
